Apprenticeships

Join Our Team

Box & Charnock recruits talented and motivated individuals on an annual basis to go through JTL accredited apprenticeship schemes.

For school leavers, start dates fall in line with the academic calendar, whilst for those seeking to retrain through the improver route, opportunities are available periodically through the year.

With our training partner JTL, NVQ accredited apprenticeship schemes are a minimum of 2 years, based on technical training at one of several approved regional colleges on a day release basis.

As a newly qualified electrician, plumber, heating engineer or mechanical fitter we will fully support you in your chosen career. Once you have gained some experience other supervisory and management opportunities may become available to you, should you wish to further develop in your career.

We offer scope for student apprentices to achieve an ONC/HNC in building services or a similar qualification in quantity surveying. This could mean additional technical training on a day or block release basis at an approved college or university, depending on the chosen course. This type of placement would usually include opportunities to work at head office and at project sites so that trainees can learn about day to day operations and experience the full breadth of our activities.
